Me With My Dad...
I've been around pigeons my whole life. My dad was a champion homing pigeon racer of 50+ years, so as you can imagine, raising pigeons is in my blood. Some of you familiar with racing may have heard of him, Vic Hennig of 4-Way Loft. As a tribute to my dad, I created a website in his honor offering others the opportunity to add his winning 4-Way Bloodline into their own Lofts. If you're interested, go to 4wayloft.com.

How I Got Started...
I first started out raising white homer pigeons way back when... I would train them up and release them at weddings and sporting events. In fact, just a side note, I still have one of the first white baby homer I raised as well as one of his sons with bands dated 2000 and 2001. So, if I am able to keep my birds alive and still thriving at the ripe old ages of 23 and 24 years old then surly, I must be doing something right... Lol. Here's picture proof of my oldest bird. Whitey can't fertile eggs anymore, but he still makes a fantastic foster dad. Any baby I give him is pack full of food.
(Sadly to report, my white homers above have dies of old age as of Oct. and Nov. of 2024 - I guess none of us can expect to live forever.)

Northland Bloodline
I started focusing my attention on the Roller Pigeon Breed back in 2007. I honed in, cultivated and critiqued our birds into the unique bloodline we have today. We developed an exquisite array of colors that we’ve seen have anywhere from 10′-50′ foot drops while others have a rapid fast flipping reaction. Through our stringent select breeding and flying program, we weeded out the traits we didn’t like while maintaining the features we liked. Creating a strong, healthy bloodline with a docile demeanor of wide color variations that perform well in the air. Hence, the “Northland Bloodline” of Extreme Beauty Rollers.

A Few Bird Color Variations

When I am not monkeying around with my birds, I am an avid hunter and fisherman. I enjoy exploring the wilderness every chance I get. But on the other hand, I find it very rewarding playing with my dogs and teaching young minds about the bonds I have with my birds.
